He saved a goal where he was at. Protected the lane to prevent the D pinch AND was still in position to get just enough off Draisaitl from behind the net. Game of inches.

 

If he starts with being responsible, the points and chances will come. Shutting down Mcdavid's line is an incredible task, so if both lines are equal I put money on us to win the game, we have more offensive depth. They really are a one line team, we're two and a half with a fourth that can break lucky.

Joulevi is not terrible on the power play either. He won’t dazzle like Hughes with end to end rushes but he can throw a skip pass and break someone out for a shot on goal on occasion.
