Lancaster
Lets just remember to keep things in perspective.... He's only 28-29.... so these are still his prime years the Canucks will be getting. $3.25 million is pretty fair.... I mean Baertschi is getting $3.6 million I think. That being said, I would have rather GMJB trade him for more assets going forward. 1
J-Dizzle
I like it. Good second line winger who helps bring stability to a young team.

This contract isn't terrible - our overall cap distribution structure is the issue but I think it can be cleaned up over the next year to 2 years - and really hope it is! KelownaCanucksFan
This is asinine, don’t sign Tofolli for 4 but sign Pearson (who only has 11 points this year and is going to only get worse) for 3.25, Hughes and Petey need to be signed and you’re signing Pearson?????? Benning needs to go now before he does anymore damage, we are officially now the oilers before mcdavid

In what way has he been a "good second line winger" for this team? His production has nosedived massively over the last calendar year.

If he can stay around the 20+20 mark it won’t be as bad.
Steven Stamkos
The contract is .5M, 1 year and a NTC to much for my liking. I dunno what is it is with Benning and handing out NTC’s to depth player. The guy can’t learn from his mistakes.

J-Dizzle
For those who don’t care to look and would rather just be outraged... he’s a career .46 pts/game. If that’s not worth 3.25 at 28 years old I don’t know what is. 1

Statistically speaking, forwards peak in their early to mid 20s.
