Stole one? Whoa hello! LARCENY in the 10th degree, I expected a game where Mikey D was the starter and we'd get smoked and not do Mikey's development any favours but we had to have someone in and actually I breathed a sigh of relief since I'd rather see Mikey against a not so good team and get his confidence going.

Anyway, wow the boys came out to play tonight and without Dem, JT, Hamonic, and Bo out, makes you wonder what that game against the Panthers would have looked like.

And flame away at this part because honestly I don't give a F so giving full credit to JB for putting together a team with a ton of potential and only inches away from being finished with the right tweaks we need and almost taking down FLA with a B roster is pretty damn impressive!

This team that Benning assembled is an easy playoff team that can win a round or two.  Even his last minute flipping of Juolevi for Lammikko and Juulsen is looking like a steal.

JR only needs to tweek the roster to get us into a solid playoff spot.  However, if things go south most likely JR will trade Miller before the deadline.

I like that Boudreau knows how to play with players available.

Green in the same position would have let Martin out in the cold with wave after wave of Panthers coming to get him as Green did with DiPietro.

If you remember one of the first times I didn’t have a clue what made Green a coach:

Yeah, love that about Boudreau. He seems to inspire his players with confidence. Knows how to get the most out of his roster.

Green, I still think will be a good coach in the league eventually. His time with Vancouver was just up. Roster needed a fresh voice, perspective, insight.

Get Green away from Baumer and pair him with a good veteran D coach and he could be a good coach.

He was simply not a fit with this style of roster. Never was and never will be. He’s more suited to coach a big, slow, defensive minded team.

How is a creatively/shifty player like Hogz not a SO specialist?

He is kind of in Boudreau's dog house I believe from recent comments by the coach. Only playing where he is in the lineup due to covid otherwise he would be on 3rd line maybe even 4th. No denying his skill though and yes I would try him in the SO as well!

Martin was good but lets bit kid ourselves. He was caught out of position more than a few times and we were lucky they didn’t capitalize.

I’ll take the point any day when we are down our 2 goalies and 3/6 top 6 forwards.

We preformed way better than them Coilers!

I agree.  Didn't really like the way Martin looked alot of times. He played well but not great. Would take halak over Martin any day.

Yep

I was a JB supporter. Main issue was that he hired the wrong coach and then re-signed him.

Also we were without Garland as well.

What a game by the boys. Saw a lot of quick hard shifts with high pressure and speed.

BB's got them playing well.

Only time a shift was extended / too long was when they were hemmed in but im seeing a lot less selfish decisions by the players.

Yep. I like them. There's nothing gimmicky about them. Best skaters vs best goalies.

There ridiculous.   Don't belong in the NHL - keep in some lesser leagues.   Every year a couple teams that are actually better teams, don't make it into the playoffs, and a couple teams that have great shoot-out artists or goalies make it in.   If you love them so much, why don't they decide playoff games with them?   Because it's a gimmick, brought in to keep teams from locking down for the tie.   Funny thing is - they do that anyways, because they know they get a point either way.    One of the lamest reasons for bringing it in.   Also it's not easy on the goalies.  Some get injuries as a result.

I didn't mind the job Benning did except the Virtanen pick#6  and Juolevi pick #5..Giving up 1st for Miller was good as we will get big return should we decide to move Miller...Garland 25 -5 yrs X 4.9 Million top 6 forward 24-28 G--65 points and OEL 30, 6'2, # 3 D man adds lots to the group, I like the trade...

It was time for change and Green had to go along with JB...

Really really like Bruce and confidence he has already brought to the group, his systems say it all..

JR will make changes and he will bring a top 10 team back to Vancouver..

We will have to move a top 5 player soon I say Miller 28 or Boeser 24, Horvat 26...

Best return is trade Miller the oldest of the 3 players...The NYR really need a Miller 6'1, 212, C/W for playoff run in tough east division..

Rangers have so many prospect and could take the salary..

Van --- Schneider 20, 6'2 RD ---Chytil 23, 6'3, 210 --- Burron 23, 6'4 -C -- 2nd rounder

NYR--- Miller --2yrs 5.5 million  ---- Motte  UFA will demand 2.5 million X 3 yrs

Dickinson ?? Playoff team might want..Has not turned out.. -----

We will know well before trade deadlined March if we should be making trades?

JR will make the right decisions...
