I honestly never saw the upside that some saw. He always seemed to somehow be very noticeable but also accomplish nothing at the same time. Count me as someone who doesn’t wanna see us use a high pick on a Finn. Puljujarvi and Laine from the same draft is looking pretty bad now. It appears that it was mostly Aho running that line (Juolevi included). Edited July 1, 2022 by Hogs & Podz 1
Hogs & Podz
If the price is right, Carolina should consider trading for him. Have him on Aho's wing.

JeremyCuddles
I think people are missing the point. Can't have a Poolparty without the Poolman. Simple maffs.

Whaleroad Train
Awful hard to have a successful poolparty when you reside in a swamp like Edmonton

DownUndaCanuck
I'd trade him for Dickinson straight up. We save 1M in cap space, swap bottom 6 forwards, maybe we can sell Dickinson the way Dallas did to us - a defensive specialist. Poolman probably has more value. mikeyman109
Ok heres all I have to say about this. Puljarvi is a bust.Virtanen 2.0 Firstly, he has played with what many consider the best player in the league and cant get it done. Whether thats from hockey intelligence or from lack of drive why would we want to add that to our mix? Makes no sense to me. Secondly and probably most importantly why the hell would we want to help Edmonton out with removing one of their mistakes, and allow them to have cap space to add to their roster? We just added Kuz to an already busting out top 9. Everyone wants to ship Myers out, Poolman, Yet somehow we are going to add RHD that will transform our Defence to challenge the AVs, We do not have the depth to ship everyone out. We need one or two RHD that can play D. OEL and Hughes play the O game for us. Thats not to say we cant add a shot from the point however we need a D man that can eat minutes as a shut down player. Myers has played that role but everyone wants him gone. If we are going to make a trade, it shouldnt be to the Coilers for P. Its more likely a move to enhance the D. Miller to New York makes sense as long as we get the pieces we need back in the trade. Unless we can get a more established young RHD from someone else. He'd be cheaper than Brock and bring that speed we really need. I also like that he can be on the PK. If we can get a RHD for Brock after locking down Mikheyev I think we're better off. Miller-Petey-Podz Kuzemko-Bo-Mikheyev There's lots to like there.

Is this enough to entice Big Tree to come back? Edited July 1, 2022 by Me_
