hammertime
Pete Miller Brock Kuzmenko Bo Garland I hope BB loads up the top 2 lines and ices a proper checking bottom 6. Mikheyev Lazar Podkolzin Dickinson Dakota Pearson I wonder if we start Hoglander in the AHL to work on the details. Garland or Myers and then a cheaper more defensive option for Myers in the works. They have all season to worry about the cap wont affect then till next year.
Nucker 67
Well, Canucks have JT for $5,25 this season. Next year's cap is next year's cap, but there will be some hefty salaries: Miller - $8,000,000 Hughes - $7,850,000 Pettersson - $7,350,000 Ekman-Larsson - $7,260,000 Horvat - $ ?? Boeser - $6,650,000 Myers - $6,000,000 I can't see them being able to re-sign Kuzmenko after this season. Maybe they end up trading Myers or OEL at some point, and Garland or Pearson as well? Hoping they can make a trade or two soon, to clear a bit of cap space, bring in another RD

Interesting to think that when this contract takes effect the Virtanen and Holtby buyouts will be off the books saving about 2.5 million. In essence the extra 3 million per year for Miller will barely be felt. There is also $1.25 million for Halaks bonuses coming off next year.

It'll require moving a F. But certainly not an impossible situation. Do you risk watching him walk for free If not signed by the deadline?

I dont want to see Garland go, I can definitely see him going but I need a SOLID return back because the image of us basically only getting OEL for Dylan Guenther is terrifying to me

Popular Post Canucklehead73
Happy to see us sign a star player and build around our core, it is the cost of doing business, anything else is simply giving up the dream of a cup. Here's hoping Miller can prove the negative Nancy's wrong and provide production and leadership deep into his contract, and hopefully a shot at a cup! I am excited for the upcoming season and glad we did not take a step back! Go Canucks Go! 1 2

I’m happy JT is back, but not at any - particularly this - cost and term. Hope it turns out to be our path to a Cup. Now we just have to wait and see how JT ages as a player. The $ is a good deal for us. And will only be better when the cap jumps up 10M+. 3 2
