I've played the game, and it's really difficult to come back from such a deep hole in goals against, especially with teams who have good Ds and average goalies. The defensive structure was actually good tonight unlike most other nights. Lazar (a Salmon Arm boy) is the type of player we needed for the board battles. We missed him when he was injured. Mikheyev is good defensively too. Ethan Bear is looking solid and had a nice goal. A good pick up from Carolina. Another good game by Petterson, Hughes and Schenn. Myers needs to avoid taking those unnecessary penalties. Anyway, I really liked to see the improved defensive play. Now, can they repeat that in Vegas.
