Seriously? The guy who said he's the best player in the draft and couldn't back it up. Got sent back to the juniors because he had a bad attitude in training camp. Sent down by Garth Snow when they were desperate for forwards and still sent him down. Please oh please not even with a ten foot pole.

The same Garth Snow who let Tavares walk for nothing. Let's not crown him the king of good decisions.

He's cocky. Canucks could use a little personality. I wonder if a Goldobin for Ho-Sang deal would make sense. Just a straight swap. Ho-Sang doesn't need waivers so he can be sent up and down this season while Goldobin can't without the risk of waivers.

The Sharks have had a lot of success "rehabbing" "troubled" players in the past (just look at there bets with Evander Kane, Ryan Merkley recently). What says the Canucks can't do the same?

This is the same team that drafted Ryan Pilon who quit hockey to be a branch manager at TD...

that being said pilon was a great dman in junior they got unlucky that he quit seems bizarre to me that youd quit  hockey right after you got drafted  like stick it out a few yrs make a few mill then quit   what a waste of talent

It wasn't unlucky. There's a reason he fell so far in the draft. He had no motivation to go pro once his junior career was over. It wasn't made public but a lot of GMs knew this after the combine interviews.

Thank god we have you to fill us in on what the GM's say behind closed doors.

He is very offensively gifted and he clearly has a personality conflict in that terrible organization.  Worth the risk if the cost is low enough. Crap prospect and a same round pick swap?

The I Slanders have a long running history of treating prospects poorly both privately and publicly.
