Matched up against defending cup champion St. Louis Blues and was able to catch them early during their cup hangover and knock them out in the first round after a hard fought 7 games series. After the first round victory, CDC is planning the cup parade just to have our dreams crushed in Round 2 by the Colorado in 5 games. Kadri as the most unpopular player in Vancouver after the 2020 playoffs as he was constantly taking cheap-shots at our players throughout the series. Though the Canucks lost the series, but they put up a fight every game and Ferland also managed to punch Kadri in a fight and broke his jaw and Kadri has to wear a shield for the rest of his playoffs. NHL Wide Predictions: Western Conference Standing Predictions: Centreal Division: 1). St. Louis Blues 2). Colorado Avalanche 3). Winnipeg Jets 4). Chicago Blackhawks --------------------------(Playoff Line) ---------------------------- 5). Nashville Predators 6). Dallas Stars 7). Minnesota Wild Pacific Division: 1). San Jose Sharks 2). Calgary Flames 3). Vegas Golden Knights 4). Vancouver Canucks --------------------------(Playoff Line) ---------------------------- 5). Arizona Coyotes 6). Edmonton Oilers 7). Anaheim Ducks 8). Los Angeles Kings Predicting some very disapointing finish for both Nashville and Dallas. This is just an instinct for me that both Nashville and Dallas would disapoint many. I know these predictions are bold but something tells me that some good teams will take some steep fall and I think Nashville is one of them. Eastern Conference: Metropolitan Division: 1). Washington Capitals 2). Carolina Hurricanes 3). New Jersey Devils --------------------------(Playoff Line) ---------------------------- 4). New York Islanders 5). Pittsburgh Penguins 6). New York Rangers 7). Philadelphia Flyers 8). Columbus Blue Jackets Atlantic Division: 1). Toronto Maple Leafs 2). Tampa Bay Lightning 3). Florida Panthers 4). Montreal Canadiens 5). Buffalo Sabres --------------------------(Playoff Line) ---------------------------- 6). Boston Bruins 7). Detroit Red Wings 8). Ottawa Senators Predicting Boston to have major fall-backs this year as their core players gets older and every other team got better around them. Also predicting Toronto the win the Division and lost in the first round choking fashion in 7 games against Montreal. Playoffs Predictions: Western Conference Finals: San Jose Sharks vs. Colorado Avalanche Rematch of last year's 2nd round playoffs, however, this time the Avalanche prevails in 6 games. Eastern Conference Finals: Tampa Bay Lightning vs. New Jersey Devils New Jersey made it to the Conference finals because Washington choked against Buffalo and New Jersey was able to overpower both Carolina and Buffalo in the first two rounds of the playoffs. Tampa Bay will get rid-off their labels as chokers this year by winning the first two round of the playoffs in convincing fashion. Stanley Cup Finals: Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Colorado Avalanche Prediction: Lightning wins the cup in 6, and Stamkos gets to lift the cup for the first time in his career. End of Year Awards & Predictions: Art Ross: Connor McDavid Rocket Richard: Alexander Ovechkin Conn Smythe: Nathan Mackinnon Hart Memorial Trophy: Nathan Mackinnon Lady Byng: Nathan Mackinnon Selke: Ryan O'Rielly Norris: Alexander Pietrangelo Vezina: Bradon Holtby Jennings: Jordan Binnington & Jake Allan Calder: Cale Makar Jack Adams: Claude Julien Many very bold predictions, but I want to be a bit bold this year as base on the previous few seasons, a lot of stuffs happened we didn't expect. EP Phone Home
Season predictions: Canucks will finish with 94 points good for the last wild card spot. They played the western conference leading Nashville predators to six games in a hard fought series. Forfeiting our draft pick to Tampa but also seeing big steps forward from our young core. EP getting 35 goals and 86 points in the regular season. Brock signs a 4 year 7.25 million contract extension before training camp in Victoria as CDC rejoices. He has himself a 34 goal season. Bo becomes captain during the first game ceremony against the Kings with Henrik passing over the C to Horvat as a right of passage. Has a 30 goal season himself. Quinn has a solid rookie campaign with 47 points and has a brother duo duel with Jack for the Calder but falls short and the younger Hughes wins it. Injuries to Sutter and Beagle gave Gaudette third line minutes of being a center and Adam responded with a 12 goal 28 point season. Showing that he can handle the minutes and can still produce at a decent pace. Demko is probably one of the biggest reasons the Canucks made the playoffs as he improved to a 15-6-3 record with 2 SO and had a personal 7 game winning streak. Him and Marky have become one of the best tandems in the league overnight. OJ doesn’t make the team out of camp but by December and regular injuries to Tanev and Edler, OJ makes his NHL debut and plays fairly well being steady and earns himself a spot on the bottom pairing when the team trades CT8 at the TDL. Jake Virtanen gets inspired or motivated with JT Miller and Ferlunds style of play and starts using that speed and size of his to open up space for his teammates and gets 22 goals while getting some 2nd line minutes. Other notables: Marky gets to 30 wins for the first time. Baer gets 20 goals for the first time. Pearson and Miller get 40 points each. Schaller and Louie go to Utica and stay there the whole season. New D men Myers and Benn play very solid and our GA is in the top 15 in the league gives us a goal difference of +7.

thepress83
Canucks finish third in the pacific this year with 98 points and make the playoffs but lose in game 7 of the first round. Markstrom continues to build on his strong 2018/19 season but Demko takes a solid step and Markstrom is traded at the deadline rather than being lost for nothing at the expansion draft. Boeser is signed for 6 years at 6.75 million per year and scores 32 goals and 70 points Elias scores 38 goals and 84 points
PistolPete13
Canucks make playoffs as a wild card team. HF boards protest that this is “fake news” . Presstitutes give all of the credit to Gillis, arguing that he did all the groundwork and dimJim was simply the benefactor. Travis Green fired for not making it past the first round and a short list is drawn up consisting of experts from the HF boards, Fedor Fedorov and Timra Swede. Petey bags 85 points and takes a dirty unpenalized hit from Milan Lucic, who is then absolutely destroyed by Micheal Ferland. Flame pukes cry foul to the NHL and Ferland is given a 40 game suspension.

ItTakesAnArmy
Great expectations fueled by over optimism. The team will be better, if ALL are there. Boeser can be an issue if he misses 10 games An injury to Tanev, Edler, Horvat, Pettersson, or any top six or top 4 dmen is an issue. They are close but no cigar, false labour. CBA still looms large. NHL has given the players a drop dead or capitulate deadline. That could alter the goals of the good teams, they could tank so they get two good/superior draft picks with only one losing season so they may tank. ALL of hockey has known for two years that this draft year may be one of the best and deepest ever. IMO they make the last playoff spot and Tampa wins in the lottery selecting one of the finest drafts very high, Wild cards are how will Edmonton, Arizona and Anaheim rebound, Arizona looks very good now. OR Canucks at February will be 4 points out, trade away another pick and finish 4 points out of the playoffs. They will get a tremendously good player in the draft. They blame injuries for failing, they get around the same stats as previous years. Benning gets demoted before the draft. OJ is a china doll, still not ready for the NHL, injuries that take 3 to 4 times longer to heal than other players.Boeser's back was worse, Roussel's knee much worse. Canucks sell public on a single night entertainment rather than a winning season. Come out close for 10/12 weeks, but then all teams are close due to shortage of games
McIlhargey the Lesser
Oooooh boy. I'm excited. 1.Lots of things go right. Canucks hit 99 points. Third in the division. 2.Peterson gets 80-85 points. Scores 35 goals. 3.We have a 40 goal scorer in Brock a 35 goal scorers in Pete and 5 20+ goal scorers in Bo, Sven, JT, Jake and Tanner. Ferland hits 19 4.Tanev only misses 5-10 games. 5.Canucks are among the top three teams in penalty minutes with Roussell leading the way. 6.Markstrom plays like last year but takes a major jump in GAA because of improved D. Markstrom and Demko are considered among the best tandem in the league. Demko plays around 25 games. 7.Hughes gets around 45 points. 8.Louie gets 15 goals. People forget about him because the team is doing well. He doesn't get traded this year. 9.Sutter has somewhat of a bounce back year. He scores 12 goals, but he returns to the shut down form he was known for. 10.Ferland has 8 points in 12 games in the playoffs. 11,Hughes comes in third in Calder voting, behind brother Hughes and Makar but ahead of Kakko.
