  1. You know when you're getting older, and you have to quint your eyes when entering the letters on your TV to watch a program on your Roku?  I remember when I bought this TV so I could see the puck better when watching hockey.

See, I get excited over the little every day things! There's always something to get excited about, even if it's waking up early every morning to go for a fantastic walk or if it is going to the beach, or baking cake pops, or hearing the cat meow at you to say hi! I get excited over many things! It's great to get excited! I find the little things to get excited about!

  3. For those who work from home, what brand of headset with built in microphone do you use when interacting with co-workers and clients?  I looked online, but there are so many brands to choose from.

Fall is a more natural time to start, as it's when the programs expect students to start, especially the ones fresh out of high school.

I don't think it really matters right now. In-person is much more epic during the fall because of how busy it is.

Yeah, I take a multivitamin and vitamin d in the morning, and vitamin b+c in the evening.  I used to be thinner at one time.  Once I gained 20 pounds in 2015, and lost 10 of it.  It's hard to fit into jeans.

Protein is also extremely important for immunity. I have been doing time restricted eating for just over 2 months now and am pleased with how I fell. It really isn't as hard as I thought it was going to be. I usually have a 6-7 hour feeding window.

It's really hard at the beginning but 3 weeks into it, I found it to be much easier. Afterwards, it was effortless.

We used to have a treadmill.  Twice.  I recommend looking for a used one.  Treadmills are one of those things that are frequently bought with good intentions, but then sit around unused for years.

    4. Alflives

      Alflives

Nope, we’ve never had a treadmill, but one of my brother’s did.  He found out to have it facing something to watch while using it was best.  He liked it though, and used it often.  He’d watch TV while walking on it.  Then he got old, and (while believing he was still on his treadmill) walked right out onto the street.  He loved the

TV show, “Streets of SAN Francisco”.  After that, he only ate Rice-a-Roni.

  8. Does anyone know what the best/easiest/cheapest way to get from Heathrow Airport to Central London?  I don't know, and have not been there in a long time, and the last time I was there, I flew into Gatwick, and that was 2005.

      JetJockey

Heathrow Express I'd say it's the fastest way to get to Central London, not the cheapest though. I know they give you a 50% discount for airline staff.

Tube's the cheapest but takes for yonks

      Have fun

    3. Bieksallent_Canuck

      Bieksallent_Canuck

Heathrow to Victoria Station is 50 mins on the tube and will cost £5.10.

Train with Heathrow Express to Paddington is 15 mins and would be £22.00 off peak and £25.00 peak.

Uber would be about 45 mins and be between £27- £35.

      So here's something ~

I know nothing about Football, except that some of those Seahawks players are really good looking. Like, oh, that's Doug Baldwin, and that's Russell ( I forgot what his last name is).

One time in my 20's at a bar, there were Bengals players at the same bar, and my friends educated me that they were football players.  My friends introduced themselves, and I introduced myself.  I started talking to one of them, and he invited us to hang out with them at another bar.  I declined, and declined for all of us.  If only my friends at the time knew that I turned them down for all of us.  And you know what I did afterwards, I went up to Capitol Hill with a friend, and we drank beer and ate ice cream bars while swinging on the swings.  It was total Brilacness.  And the only one I remember is Justin, because he had really cool hair and his teammates said great things about him.

AMAZON! ...as people mentioned above as well.

The small holes and hiding spots will be too small as soon as they surpass the kitten phase, but you still get several "stories" for a fraction of the cost (at least from what I have seen locally in Victoria). Have a large enough space for your furry friend to curl up in and be able to see all around, and they will love it.

Great, thanks all!  I have been thinking about taking a day trip up to Vancouver. I was not sure about the border crossing since we are still in a pandemic and of what to expect like travelling by myself for a day trip, if that would be a red flag because we are still in a pandemic, and taking the bus. The train service from Seattle is not up and running and Kenmore Air is not running service up to Vancouver and back.

You know what's funny... I used go to Montreal and would take an overnight flight, usually over to Chicago and up to Montreal. At customs, I always wanted to tell the agent why I was there, but they never asked me anything.  They would just look at my declaration form and say merci followed by thank you, and that was it.  When I interacted with an agent at a land border or YVR on my way to Vancouver, sometimes it was like a Q&A session, and I am not much for more than 3 questions. I would think that the agents in Montreal would ask me questions, and the agents at the land border and YVR would not ask me more than 3 questions.

@4petesake, did you have to show anything else besides your passport and vaccination card or use an app to go to the US?

So as a recap for myself to go to Vancouver and back to Seattle:

Canada:  ArriveCan app + passport or Enhanced ID

      USA:  passport + vaccination card

      Is that right?

    4. 4petesake

      4petesake

For a Canadian going across I didn’t have to show anything other than passport. Returning to Canada if you have filled out your ArriveCan online you also don’t have to show anything as it is already linked.

Yes I am confident you have it right in your recap
