You know when you're getting older, and you have to quint your eyes when entering the letters on your TV to watch a program on your Roku? I remember when I bought this TV so I could see the puck better when watching hockey.

This week’s grocery list ~
I get excited over grocery lists!
What’s yours?

See, I get excited over the little every day things! There's always something to get excited about, even if it's waking up early every morning to go for a fantastic walk or if it is going to the beach, or baking cake pops, or hearing the cat meow at you to say hi! I get excited over many things! It's great to get excited! I find the little things to get excited about!

For those who work from home, what brand of headset with built in microphone do you use when interacting with co-workers and clients? I looked online, but there are so many brands to choose from.

@6of1_halfdozenofother, not yet. I was going to this evening, but I got wrapped up in other things.
-
I'm looking on Amazon, and there's so many choices. I would either want to connect bluetooth or have it wired to a Windows laptop. What do you think?
-
After 3 hours of sitting around doing nothing except listing to music and drinking coffee and with the cat next to me. I think it's time to be productive! It's almost 2pm you know.

@Tre Mac where are you at on your ice cream? And, are you sharing?

CDC! For those college/university/students/past students out there! When is the best time to start college/university? Fall or winter?

I'm on the intermittent fasting diet. Trying to get my food in before 6:30pm.

I think I need a treadmill. Will those electric ones work fine with it plugged into a regular power source on the wall? Is a manual treadmill better?

Nope, we’ve never had a treadmill, but one of my brother’s did. He found out to have it facing something to watch while using it was best. He liked it though, and used it often. He’d watch TV while walking on it. Then he got old, and (while believing he was still on his treadmill) walked right out onto the street. He loved the
TV show, “Streets of SAN Francisco”. After that, he only ate Rice-a-Roni.

Does anyone know what the best/easiest/cheapest way to get from Heathrow Airport to Central London? I don't know, and have not been there in a long time, and the last time I was there, I flew into Gatwick, and that was 2005.

I'm so into Math! I love how it all fits together! And finding the answer! And I used to be very artistic at one point! Like putting together and creating divine art!

It's so nice to look at the Vancouver skyline at night. Kind of reminds me when I did my own 'Tourism at Night' once in Montreal. But I was drunk that evening in Montreal.

I went to the NKOTB concert last night. Yeah!

I'm in my mid 30's, and I was just asked for ID when purchasing wine. Maybe this under eye cream is working!

It's a sad day when I am no longer being carded for buying champagne at the grocery store...!
-
Has anyone know if you can bring half ate chocolate cake thru customs when flying without issue?
-
The person who cleans for me has not sent a follow-up email advising of things done. Should I be concerned? I have not been home since 5:30am.

I don't really care for the Leafs, but I would be nice to see them win.
-
Wow! A co-worker just came up to me and gave me a Linden jersey! So cool, very cool!!
-
Gosh I love the champagne! It's such a great drink, and I would drink it more if it didn't cut into my calorie intake and make my jeans fit tighter. I love the taste, and I think I like it better than red wine, and that's hard to say when comparing it to red wine!

So here's something ~
I know nothing about Football, except that some of those Seahawks players are really good looking. Like, oh, that's Doug Baldwin, and that's Russell ( I forgot what his last name is).
One time in my 20's at a bar, there were Bengals players at the same bar, and my friends educated me that they were football players. My friends introduced themselves, and I introduced myself. I started talking to one of them, and he invited us to hang out with them at another bar. I declined, and declined for all of us. If only my friends at the time knew that I turned them down for all of us. And you know what I did afterwards, I went up to Capitol Hill with a friend, and we drank beer and ate ice cream bars while swinging on the swings. It was total Brilacness. And the only one I remember is Justin, because he had really cool hair and his teammates said great things about him.

What's your New Year's resolution? Mine: Hot Yoga, Acupuncture, and Budget.

I have all this healthy food, and I am not enticed to eat it. Like snap peas, carrots with hummus, blueberries, bananas, nuts, and other less enticing food. But I do have Belgium chocolates, cheesecake, peppermint chocolates, dark chocolate, and other goodies I cannot think of.
-
You know when you see little Cheeto crumbs on the keyboard and realize you maybe eat a lot of Cheetos! Cheetos are my thing! That, champagne, dessert, chocolate.
-
Any recommendations on the best scratching post/cat tree for a cat, such as what does your cat like? My cat is very particular, and doesn't like much.

AMAZON! ...as people mentioned above as well.
The small holes and hiding spots will be too small as soon as they surpass the kitten phase, but you still get several "stories" for a fraction of the cost (at least from what I have seen locally in Victoria). Have a large enough space for your furry friend to curl up in and be able to see all around, and they will love it.

I hit my foot against the coffee table more than 12 hours ago not watching where I was going, and am still in so much pain.. I hope wine helps!

Has anyone taken any day trips crossing the border since it re-opened last year?

Great, thanks all! I have been thinking about taking a day trip up to Vancouver. I was not sure about the border crossing since we are still in a pandemic and of what to expect like travelling by myself for a day trip, if that would be a red flag because we are still in a pandemic, and taking the bus. The train service from Seattle is not up and running and Kenmore Air is not running service up to Vancouver and back.
You know what's funny... I used go to Montreal and would take an overnight flight, usually over to Chicago and up to Montreal. At customs, I always wanted to tell the agent why I was there, but they never asked me anything. They would just look at my declaration form and say merci followed by thank you, and that was it. When I interacted with an agent at a land border or YVR on my way to Vancouver, sometimes it was like a Q&A session, and I am not much for more than 3 questions. I would think that the agents in Montreal would ask me questions, and the agents at the land border and YVR would not ask me more than 3 questions.

@4petesake, did you have to show anything else besides your passport and vaccination card or use an app to go to the US?
So as a recap for myself to go to Vancouver and back to Seattle:
Canada: ArriveCan app + passport or Enhanced ID
USA: passport + vaccination card
Is that right?
