Bear is Cree if I'm not mistaken and I'm not sure if the Canucks play on Cree territory, though I'm not sure how much specific nations matter in this case.

The hat was weaved in Haida gwaii and donated on the canucks trip to langara island ( fishing)

I would consider doing a sign/trade involving Boeser to NJ for Mukhamudullin (or maybe even Ball plus a pick).  Rumor was that there was interest from NJ for one of our wingers (Boeser/Garland) at some point.  Hockey trade that benefits both clubs and not ridiculous on the value which most proposals are on CDC.  I know for sure that Shakir and Podz were on at least two Russian National teams together (Zlodeyev may have been teammates as well but I can't remember that clearly) as they came up through the ranks and that couldn't hurt for them to have at least one comrade on the team:).

I think if Subban is going to be motivated again it will be in a hockey market in a contract year on a playoff team.

It's low risk for a 3rd as a 1 year rental would really show the Canucks are all in to make the playoffs and try to win a round or two imo.

PK is basically Virtanen on defense, minus the sexual accusations. I think PK is quite a nice guy, and he's very popular with the kids. That being said, he's such an attention seeker. I really don't think he'll fit in this lineup because he seems to value social media more than his on-ice performances.

Hey, I'm not a hater. I could be wrong though. I hope PK does light it up next year. He's an ambassador of the game with his clean rep.

If the Devils retain half, I'll take Subban if they give me a 2nd round draft pick. There's a reason why smashville dumped him on the Devils. Would you rather have Subban or Josi? Lol, not even close.

They’re not cheaters as the league had a chance to close this loophole in 2015/2016 as a result of what the BlackHawks did with Kane with a league vote.  The vote didn’t pass.  Only two teams voted to close it.  The Blues and guess who?  The Lightning.  The Canucks & Jim Benning didn’t have a problem with the loophole.

^ I agree with your stance with the death part as this virus has impacted everyone in someway.. but please be open minded and allow people to have anti-vaxx views as they do not work for the Canucks organization; since we live in free society people are allowed to express those viewpoints. At least he'd be a media member who knows what the hell they're talking about, having played at the highest level and thrived. Unlike some of the current hockey media around the league. 

He has 72 million reasons to retire.  Thank God Montreal got a stud back for him in Weber.  Weber will probably see out his contract and play until he is 40.  Subban will probably retire this summer after he collects his $6 million bonus.  No point in grinding it out for another year for only $2 million when he can get his TV career going one year sooner.  

He's definitely going to get a fulltime gig with ESPN when his playing career is over. But he is only 32 and has one more year left on his 9 million dollar per season contract. I suspect he'll sign a couple of smaller deals to chase a cup and when he's eliminated each year, he'll go to the studio.

Draymond Green does this in the NBA. He plays until his team is out and when the Warriors are eliminated he goes up and does commentary work for TNT alongside guys like Shaq and Charles Barkley. He's great at it and it's clear he'll also make the move to be in front of the camera full time when all is said and done.

PK is a great personality for the NHL and I wish more player's were like him in terms of showcasing there personality on and off the ice. Too many players try to be too stoic and it's not really working with today's Social Media.

They are not regular season games - 7 teams have already been eliminated and it's not the format of the regular season.  It makes them playoff games by default.  They were not going to create a separate category.  Number of playoff teams has also varied over time and this year will simply be a year with 24 teams.

Will these playoff stats have an asterisk next to them? Teams could be playing more games (with the extra play-in rounds), so we might see higher point totals etc?

Mercedes running away with the constructors and Hamilton with the championship.

Has been encouraging to see Ferrari have a bit of a resurgence the last few races.

Always been a Ferrari fan with Schumacher. 

Would be nice to see more overtaking and more competitive races in general.

As it stands Mercedes,Ferrari, and Red Bull are a class above.

Midfield battle is still interesting between McLaren and Renault.

Charles Leclerc is a rising star.

The sport is in good hands with him and Max Verstappen.

Looking forward to the race today in Russia.
