Maniwaki Canuck
Stoked to see what he can do. Would have been nice to have his size in the lineup tonight, but I guess the brass doesn't want to throw someone that green in against Anaheim, which is fair enough. Could become a legit shutdown option.
Henrik Kesler
Looking forward to seeing Kellan play tonight. Watch how he takes face offs and his neutral zone positioning. From what I remember, he switches his grip on face offs depending on which side of the ice he is on.
UticaHockey
"Lack starts. Eriksson backs up. We're going to stay with the same line-up. Lain has joined us, but not likely to play tonight." - Torts— Vancouver Canucks (@VanCanucks) January 17, 2014
Lack starts. I hope he comes back to Utica soon if he is going to sit in the press-box or play less than 5 minutes a game. Lain wasn't much of a factor in Utica the first couple of months but has improved steadily the past month and is getting a ton of ice time including on the PK. Why stunt his development by having him sit in Vancouver instead of playing in Utica? wshdrvvn
bummer, was hoping to see him debut tonight. maybe torts wants him to get some practice time with the guys first.

Coconuts
https://twitter.com/...779564766621696 One for the books! I'd rather have seen him actually play, but he didn't shy away when it was time to play his role. Major props.
WonderTwinPowers
Took advantage of an opportunity that Archibald failed to take hold of in the L.A. Game. Will probably get some decent ice time next game as Torts way of saying sorry for putting him in that situation that fast.
Gyllenhaal
Sucks that he only played 2 seconds but at least he set a NHL record for fastest first career fight.

elvis15
Travis Green was on News1130 apparently this morning ahead of the Comets travelling out West for their games with the Heat: News1130 Sports @News1130Sports Coach Travis Green tells us that he's very proud of Kellan Lain. Says Lain pushed himself hard at practise and that's why he's in the NHL. Green says the #AHL pace was high for Lain at the beginning of the season but through hard work he caught up. Fred65
So any one think Lain has put a lttle distance between himself and Archibald. I'm think Saturday night would have been a little different if Archie had iced for the game
elvis15
Well, we wouldn't have had a center on that line, so Bieksa taking the faceoff would have been weird still but for different reasons.
