If EK wants to come home he can and will wait for UFA status. Trading for him just puts us a step back, unless it's for Eriksson or Edler. No picks or prospects. I wouldn't trade 33 OA for Kane 1 for 1. The only way this trade happens is if it's part of a bigger deal (Tanev) in which Kane is not the main piece coming back.
