He just can't admit he made a stupid comment in the heat of the moment, but has to call the reporter an idiot. Comments like his are a sign that a guy is close to being done. He's not willing to accept that he's getting passed by in the league by younger and far superior players. His PIMs are going to go up too. He's a frustrated player, but it's not because his team stinks; it's because he's the reason for their stinking, and he can't accept that. Jobs were plentiful, moms stayed at home, new inventions were making our lives way easier, and stuff was relatively cheap. Boomers were growing up during then. Life was happy, plentiful, and futures looked bright. The only person I've seen whining about the comments is the dumb-ass who originally made them. The general feeling from fans, and the team, seems to be "Oh? You want to disrespect us like that? Yep... well this year legit contenders have had more than thier hands full with the canucks dominant play. Blues lost.... and capitals only won because of thier experiance to know a young team might take thier foot of the gas for a moment.... dont worry washington we wont make that mistake again.
