Basically, the message was that the Leafs don't have what it takes to win a Cup. The Canucks (and Pettersson in particular) did get a shoutout on Hockey Central. They were saying Pettersson almost has this invisible forcefield around him that opponents can't seem to break. But they said it's probably more due to the opponents not wanting to be embarrassed by Pettersson, so they wait for him to make a move.
