Where's Wellwood
If only they'd kept Marleau and then trade for Pavelski. Re-unite the Sharks
Warhippy
Honestly not shocked at this at all. Only shocked he chose the Leafs of all teams
Coconuts
I figured he might end up in Boston, didn't really think he'd go to Toronto. Ahh well, he's not going deep with that club. He can still produce at a reasonable clip and protect the puck while winning draws. He doesn't have Marleau's wheels though.
Lionized27
This signing makes no sense. Good job, Dubas.
khay
This basically seals the deal I guess huh? No cup for Toronto this year? I mean, the guy hasn't won in 20 years playing on some great teams... could only mean that they lost because of him?
Qwags
Where does he fit on the Leafs? And offence is the least of their worries.

grandmaster
Wow. I really think the Leafs have done really well. They have so many of these reclamation projects for dirt cheap. At least one of them will be a hit. Low risk versus high reward. Simmonds - 1.5M Thornton - 700K Spezza - 700K Bogosian - 1M Add Brodie, a good defenceman. I like the moves. 1 1
rekker
This won't end well. Too slow. Spezza can at least skate with the young kids and the Leafs should of stopped with one old guy.
Goal:thecup
I want to win the Stanley Cup. I signed with Toronto because they give me the best opportunity to do that.
