I think Green probably wants a "veteran" on that line but Motte's playing style might really complement the two kids in terms of fighting and winning board battles. Net result -- 3rd line defensive abilities (or lack of) won't show up as much as they will play against bottom 6 players. Gaudette was the 6th most sheltered player in the league last year.
