Every time he touches the puck near anybody, he gets hit.

That's 'the' rule. It doesn't have to be a crushing open ice blowout, and probably shouldn't because *when* it misses they'll look dumb. A shoulder rubout, even a light bump. Anything to make him know that every time he touches the puck near a Canuck, he gets hit.

Just like what other teams try and do to EP

when JT gets back? He's key.. damn that man has a lethal shot.

People are acting like we're not getting chances. Yea we miss JT but I'm liking the zone time. Couple broken sticks, a post, to early to panic yet.

Everyone needs to chill. The best hockey player to have ever played the game is on a mission tonight to win. We are bound to let in goals and look stupid.

That's a bit presumptuous. This isn't about the greatest hockey player to ever play, but I think you're getting ahead of yourself here.

Did Joulevi even play at all this whole period?

He was our best defenseman on the count that I only noticed him on one goal against and it wasn't his fault. I'm pretty sure that was one of his only 2 shifts.

What every other team does to every other teams' star player.

Hell the Oilers openly run guys with their plugs, they don't care - that dirty hit on the wall at the end of last game against Hughes is an example.

Connor's gonna charge guys too, so he has to pay the piper for that. But everybody is terrified of him for some reason... if they're afraid of Kassian or something.

That's not Hughes' guy though, he was covering for the forward. That's on Hamonic, and he has been brutal so far in his 5 periods.

Watch the goal again. That was Hughes's guy. Hamonic watch on the puck carrier that moved along the half wall.

There was nobody else out there by Hughes besides McDavid. McDavid was the point man.

Hughes even shoulder checked at McDavid before he lost him for a second.

Someone should Hamhuis hipcheck Mcloser next time he tries to go through the whole damn team!

we need to shoot more and stop waiting for the pretty goals on the PP! get within 1 early so we better not screw around with the passes.

You don't shoulder check a guy like that. You Avery on Brodeur a guy like that.

This is what I suggested on Bo's wing and people here thought I was nuts. But either way, there's nothing wrong with giving it a shot on the first line. Based on last night's performance, I would keep Bo's line together.

If you have a enough skill in the other two guys then having a guy like that is a good compliment.  Burrows made a career out of that.
