That's 'the' rule. It doesn't have to be a crushing open ice blowout, and probably shouldn't because *when* it misses they'll look dumb. A shoulder rubout, even a light bump. Anything to make him know that every time he touches the puck near a Canuck, he gets hit.

Hell the Oilers openly run guys with their plugs, they don't care - that dirty hit on the wall at the end of last game against Hughes is an example.

 

Connor's gonna charge guys too, so he has to pay the piper for that. But everybody is terrified of him for some reason... if they're afraid of Kassian or something.
