Hopefully this is the start of the league actually starting to take the integrity of the game seriously and firing the corrupt refs and DOPS crooks. Clean up the corruption before someone gets killed due to the NHL's criminal negligence. After the fiasco of the match-fixing in the playoffs, the Wilson lack of suspension, and the Peel firing, it is clear the time is now for the league to stop ignoring this. audiodave Posted August 1, 2021 Share Posted August 1, 2021 Kane needs help with his addiction, it's been a well known problem for years. If it was drugs or alcohol the NHL would have already stepped in and tried to help him. Gambling addiction is no different than drug and alcohol addiction, why have the Sharks and the NHL turned a blind eye to his problem? If his wife's allegations of betting against his team and trying to lose games is true, he should never play in the NHL again and I doubt any team would want him. At a minimum the NHL needs to provide the same type of support that they would if it was substance abuse and should have a rule against players and their families betting on hockey. No you are missing the point and obviously don’t get it, she’s losing her home, her child is losing her home, her unborn son is losing his home due to the actions of a man who seemingly could not care less. She is doing all the work raising his children, she has every right to use whatever effing medium she feels is most effective. They are losing their home while he parties in Europe, yah and she’s the terrible one for calling him out.
