To be fair, Blues probably have the best forward depth in the league. It wouldn't surprise me to see them make a run.

Blues in six, but my pick has nothing to do with the Wild beating us.

 

They're one of two teams with seven 20 goal scorers, the other team being Colorado. If Thomas scores another they'll have eight.

This should be the best series of round 1, what a great matchup. Too close for me to call, I'll guess Wild in 6.

Wild in 7. I like Husso, but I like MAF and Talbot more. Binnington adds negative value.

Should be a good close series. Wouldn't be surprised to see either team win, but given STL is more playoff proven, I'll pick them in 6,

This is the series to watch, IMO. Whoever gets out of it is going to be a wreck though.

 

Guessing Wild in 7, even though that Foligno injury hurts them. But they are a significantly better defensive team. Blues have actually been lousy defensively, but Husso has masked a lot of it.

I have Blues in 6.

 

Minnesota made me look bad in the regular season though!  Gawd Dang is Kaprizov fun to watch.  Everything else is just great match up control, solid play.  

 

But Blues have more weapons. Maybe Tarasenko won't be interested?

If the Wild can get past first round when the whistles get put away they will be tough out for anyone.

I'm probably going to cheer for St. Louis on this matchup, mostly because my work is based out of St. Louis, so I have co-workers cheering for them.

Definitely the pick of the first round for neutral observers. Gonna be a hard crunching series, lots of big hits and scrapping for the puck.

 

I say Blues in 6, I think they can find another gear for the playoffs.

I'm leaning lightly for the MAF effect. But I think it's too close to call.
