A 5th is nothing. Exactly. There were higher hopes for Larsen when he came in. It didn't work out like most hoped but so don't most 5th round picks. Hindsight is 20/20 but it was worth a shot. I'm sure Subban at the very least can provide what the Canucks had in Larsen last year. Canucks have a couple of D draft picks to sign (Olson/Neil) so the hit to depth is very minimal dare I say negligible with the loss of Larsen.
