Miller to COL makes a ton of sense for me. They are a contender, have the assets and with Kadri a UFA it could give them legit championship shot this year and next. Cap gymnastics might be needed but if you can pry a Newhook or Byram as part of a deal out of COL count me in.

@brilac my wife and I are crazy animal people. I had the sense your cats stayed indoors- just wanted to ask. I'm guessing boredom and inactivity isn't an issue for u? I just went out and bought the smallest harness possible. Tomorrow is day 1 of outside leash training. As far as outdoor cats go, I completely understand. Had to save a small cat the other night on my way home from an owl stalking it.
@King Heffyfor sure. We only buy good quality pet food from our pet store. Wet food only for this little guy

@SILLY GOOSE, Georgie is a lot of fun! I got her at the perfect time in February. She loves all her toys, has taken over the living room, demands being petted, only drinks water from the sink, enjoys watching TV, and thinks the Yoga mat is hers. She's laying on it right now.

@Elias Pettersson You would probably be complaining as well if they let him walk free.

Push for the playoffs? Yah, that train has left the station, with or without Motte. This version of the Canucks will be lucky if they end the season 2-3 games above .500. I'll be shocked if the Canucks can play .500 hockey the rest of the season.
The best fourth line in the NHL is going to give you a good shot at the playoffs? Not likely when your best players aren't the best players every night.

@chon derry that embroidery is top notch as well

Ok Pedan, with Sbsia gone and a new coach that knows you well, you've got an opportunity to get some games this season, and the team desperately needs that element you bring.
-
OK. Listening to Canucks media availability zoom calls. There is a female host/PR person? that keeps cutting people off after an initial answer when media presents questions. Can someone please rationalize this for me because it is DRIVING ME &^@#ING CRAZY.

OK. Looks like Matt Benning is going to be an UFA. I think he would be a great fit but get the feeling he doesn't want his uncle to be a distraction
-
Omg Taylor Hall,hope he's ok

Paypal Gurus: I'm interested in putting a deposit down for an item, the rest when we are eventually able to meet. Anyone have an idea how to create an agreement/proof of purchase via paypal that safely covers my deposit (i.e. it gets returned if I don't get the item)?

Get the seller to send you an actual invoice not just a request for the money. It's one of the options provided. The invoice allows the seller to write the item/terms/conditions/price, basically any details you want. That's more for full purchases in complete though. Might be different for deposits? I personally would just recommended completing the transaction in full when you can rather than any kind of deposit.
-
@RRypien37 Luckily the seller seems laid back and will hold onto the items for me. Perfect! But if I need to do a deposit that's some good info that you suggested.
-
@SILLY GOOSE I would get him to send you an official invoice rather than just a money request either way. Covers you much better regardless if its the full money up front deal.

Playoff hockey is great but lets get to the freaking draft already

Police officer shoots and kills 5 year old's dog during birthday party on pathetic grounds...............wtf is with these guys
-
Predictions on where UFA Motte lands? Contract? Im betting he didnt think he was going to be still waiting for a contract at this point. His rumoured ask of 2million + from the Canucks seems to have backfired.
-
Pretty sweet that the draft is tomorrow and Ive got the day off. Feeling spoiled

Quick check in on how CDC is doing and now back to #canucks twitter.

@Salmonberries you're not suggesting that this is ok are you? to treat a sentient animal this way is nothing short of torture.

oh! my apologies @Salmonberries .

ROFL holy ramble ramble Tiger Williams. Sounds more like a CDC rant than a knowledgeable hockey player. Guy seems to love Willie though?!

S.O.B might make it as a great analyst.

I actually really enjoyed listening to him. I thought he may come off as a sarcastic ego mad party guy, but he had some good things to say and probably has a ton of great stories to share. He seems up front, wouldn't hold much back, and is honest. Listening to him talk about facing the Hawks back in the day, the hatred between teams and how fun that was. It brought back memories of that rivalry.

@King Heffy I cant see them losing Markstrom and Toffolii- I would be very surprised. Markstrom is the lynchpin holding things up. If it looks like Markstrom is priced out I bet they get Toffoli signed asap & find someone to split duties with Demko

Say what you will about Travis Green’s zone defending, but this team looks so unorganized in the D zone

@PhillipBlunt Dont think Shaw was really that huge of a difference maker. That style of defending is pretty much league standard. Canucks were still getting shelled nightly and dealing with extended D zone shifts. But at least they didnt look so discombobulated with who is checking who.

Sekeres stating to Craig Button "Will Goldobin be twice as good as Pavel Bure, or three times as good"........I like the kid but that is a crock of $&!#!
