Kamloops Blazers were 7 points back of the final playoff spot in the WHL with 7 games remaining

They went 6-0-1 without their # 1 goalie and had a 16YO in net for the the pressure packed tie break game last night with Kelowna, won and are in the show!

Canucks are 6 points back with 9 games remaining, so apparently miracles can happen?!

I'm glad Loops won the tiebreak game. In the past two weeks, they looked like they wanted the last spot much more than Kelowna.

I like Benning and the work he has done.  This rumor is from Toronto and shouldn't even be worthy to listen to.  It's just a garbage time.  I believe that we should let him finish the work and he is about 1/2 way to the completion of being a cup contender.   Most of his draft picks are young and are not even entering into the prime.   Even if we win the lottery, we are still far away off and let him continue to build this team via the draft.   If Benning is gone, I would no longer support this team due to jerk move decision based on result.   I truly believe that without the injury bug struck on this team, we are a playoff team and we can clearly see that the depth is not there but is getting there.   I would give him about 2-3 years but not before that.  Benning has given us hope for a playoff team and actually competing for a playoff by playing a meaningful games by February which he has done that.  There is no reason to make that move.

Don't for a moment think Toronto would love to see Benning fired and the Canucks rebuild hit a snag and go in the direction the Oilers have went. If the Canucks trend continues itmakes Toronto look bad and well its hard not to make Edmonton look bad.

Like the poor fan in Edmonton who left two tickets on his dash only to have someone break his windshield and leave two more tickets on his dash. He was out the cash of a windshield....not happy!

New information leads me to believe the money was also left for windshield replacement and 50 bucks, at least the fans are still classy!

The fan that broke the windshield probably left cash to pay for it and left an extra 50 for extracurriculars. And even with a broken windshield and extra cash, the tickets were not touched.

to be fair the way it was worded was pretty confusing. thought he was trying to say no other source he trusted more.

it wasn't confusing if you read good.

Need to get this Tank back on track, playing our way out of a top 10 pick.

Winning culture starts now, not all at once in the future, too many here expect our draft selections to be the future, the future starts now with our current selections playing for us now.

And yet they gave a goal to Radulov the other night on a breakaway with the goalie pulled because a stick was thrown at him (go figure)

Hoffman jabbing back a message to the Stars, perhaps an reminder of thrown sticks?

Game starts in 33 minutes....GCG!!!

Seriously, I did not want to start an argument. We. Are all Orcas. Rename the hockey team, the Vancouver Orcas. Less confusion that way.

Seriously, who cares?

In my view Benning isn't fit to be the GM in a big organisation like this.

The way he treated Dahlen isn't worthy of a GM. So he lost it...

A GM for the Canucks must treat every player in the roster, past roster and future roster (wich means every possible player) with respect in public.

You clearly are a hockey genius
