Edler really needs to watch Hughes and stop trying to hammer shots into shin pads and move and fire some wrist shots around players. Twice this game he lost his advantage by taking 3 seconds to wind up a clapper that everyone including Stevie wonder see coming.

I was about to say to myself. We have no chance in the game.. then Bo scores LOL.

 

We are not playing our best game. Give Minny credit they are playing like their lives are on the line. We need to stay focused and end this. These are the games that matter. This is the type of experience Benning was talking about. We have a lot of young players with clutch play potential. Bo, Boeser, Petey, Hughes, and Juolevi are all big game players. This experience will be invaluable to their development!

Even though he didn't get an assist on that tying goal it was all Hughes.. He went up the ice behind the Minny net fought for the puck got it out to Tanev to Pearson to Horvat bang bang bang tie game...

 

Hughes is by far the best player on either team.. superstar in the making..
