To me it looked like Hughes almost got spun around and then in the ensuing chaos nobody picked up the trailers.  That's for sure on the forwards.  Where was Elias?  Boeser and JT didn't help either.

If you rely heavily on goaltending you are destined to fail regardless. A goalie only covers up so many of teams glaring holes.

Again if Edler at this stage in his career is a top defenseman then we have bigger issues with this team.

Montreal has to lay back or they’ll give Vancouver a powerplay. Which now seemingly have a 50% success rate, according to Travis Yost and his ferret face.

For anyone saying the Canucks have an atrocious defence, let’s remember that this defence has been designed around Tanev and Markstrom for the last seven years...

 

This is a new defence. They’ll work it out.

Bottling puck came to Myers & he panic tossed up the middle. He could've put it to the boards or even tried to control it (with his length).

That was Hughes, not Myers.  Hughes has been "watch the next game from the press box" bad tonight.
