I think petterson outa shape. He looks slow and outa position all over. No speed through neutral zone on line rushes also. Welcome to the pros.
Horvat, Miller, Boeser, Hughes and Holtby showed up prepared.

I think there might be of "believing his own hype" going on.  Hughes too

Hey at least we didn't fold like the last few games. Super excited to see Hogs only get better, kid's great.

Chatfield played really well, good speed and doled out some hits. Good to see.

EP will figure it out. Frustrating game but definitely some notable improvement.

I’m mentally done....but quickly...

Hughes needs to tighten up his defensive game.

EP still struggling ...but I’m seeing signs he is coming out of it.

Chatfield....easily showed enough that he deserves a spot in the top 6

Boeser and Bo are in the groove.

Beagle and Motte’s energy is incredible.

Is Roussel still on the team?

Virt threw some nice hits that had the boards shaking. But some of his decisions with the puck...especially in OT made me want to pull my beard out.

Goaltending....I have concerns.

Most importantly it’s A WIN.

Haha yeah, Virtanen shooting the puck in during 3v3 play.....

Chatfield looked really good. He can definitely stay. If Edler is injured i guess Benn is in on for next game

He's the type of player who seems to LOVE the game....has fun out there and is relaxed.  He just seemed like he belonged.

There's definitely something to be said for Petey/Hughes taking the next step of going straight up against the best players all the time.

I think its more of that then 'believe own hype', Hughes especially doesn't strike me as that guy.

Honestly 5 on 5 the best line was our 4th line.  Motte, Sutter and Beagle had the Habs hemmed in.  Aside from Bo, our top guys are playing way too soft.

Sutter/Beagle/Motte have had a pretty good start to the season besides Motte taking a few penalties.

Only 2 Motte goals for points (and I guess they’re a part of a lacklustre PK) but 55% 5v5 Corsi with heavy D zone starts.  Hope they can keep that up.

Hughes is leading dmen in scoring. We knew what we were getting.

Nate Schmidt hasn’t lit it up and he’s the only other offensive dman we have.

That was baffling .. why wouldn’t he shoot it back into his own zone or turn around and buy time for the line change

I think he was trying to ring it around to the player coming in on the change.  He just didn't shoot it hard enough, allowing Price to block it
