Top players have been awful defensively, defensive players have been awful everywhere.

 

The only players that could say they've been good are Horvat, Hoglander, and maybe Motte.

Players are cheating and making stupid plays. 

 

Get the D game better. Then they will have a chance to win each night.

The defense was a tire fire last year too. Some of the players effort is lacking, but the zone coverage is pathetic and passive. And that is one Nolan Baumgartner. Sorry. It’s science.

Cmon man, What are you so excited about so far this season? They have shown nothing. They look like garbage and any time someone speaks up with frustration its oh everyone jumps ship and what a loser fanbase. It's better than pretending everything is fine. This is a shortened season. You can't afford a start like this, so stop with questioning fans loyalty.

When the shots are literally 40+ against to 23-27 for, there's an issue. On top of that it wasn't just one game, it was atleast 20 games last year.

 

This is going to be a loooong season against stiff, hard-nosed competition.

...& lack of familiarity with that system, one another & tendencies of the opposition. Time will help, but by then in a shortened-season it may simply be, too late.
