So Benning is speaking to Rintoul and Virtanen isn't in the starting line-up.

And Juolevi is out again.......

As fan this is frustrating - they should just let Green go or sign him cause without a contract he is only focus on this year.  Since this season is looking like a wash, it is the rookies that is mostly keeping me engaged and not the vets (since a handful of them are soon to be FA anyways).

Aint backup goalies suppose to be on the cheaper side.  Should of brought in Richard Bachman (sp) has more fight then holtby.

Hindsight is easy.  At the time Demko was an unproven starter and Holtby was the best available.  Agreed that Holtby hasn't been as good as he could have been but in my opinion it still was the right decision at the time.  GMs don't have the benefit of hindsight or a crystal ball, they have to make the moves with the information they have at the time.  Personally I don't mind goalies competing for the starting job.  Nobody should be gifted their position, they should have to earn it.  Go Canucks Go!

So elder Jannik Hansen (Meier), Phil Collins (Nansen), Gilbert Gottfried (Joanette), and John C. McGinley (Brisebois) are officiating tonight.

If we're packaging Jake and OJ im all for it. We have other defensive prospects who can play just as well with higher ceilings at this point (thinking Rathbone in particular, but also Chatfield and Woo).

Sell high on OJ. Top 5 pick who is just breaking into the NHL, but his foot speed is gone after all the injuries. He's gonna be a solid bottom pairing guy over his career imo, but nothing more. Trade him before the other teams realize that's the case.

The entire organization seems to lack focus beyond one year.
