Doesn't matter who we bring in here. We could bring in Bowman who has won more cups than any other coach in history, and some fans would be saying that he's a crap coach.

 

Green is fine they just need to start and crank up the energy.

Yeah and I wonder if there will be anymore Schmidt type request, which supposedly was only a rumour.   With hindsight, management sided with the staff & Schmidt went to Winterset.

Training camp and preseason isn't just for the Canucks, it's for the organization which was overhauled in the summer.  How do you know what youve got if you don't play them?

The players play within that infrastructure, but it's improv within those systemic boundaries.  No one drew up a play where QH tries to stick handle through three guys and then gives up a breakaway.  They have a setup and possibilities that the players have to read and take advantage of

 

What system is that? Playing passively, square plugs in round holes? No identity, no passion, no chemistry? Exactly what is it you think a choach does to be effective or ineffective?
