I thought they had good energy tonight and finally looked like they cared out there.  McD makes every single team in the league look that way.

Demko played great, but so did Koskinen.  If they play that game more often they'll be in the playoff mix.

They had a bit more more jump than we have typically seen so far but still too many passengers just throwing the puck away instead of controlling the play. The difference I really noticed was a lack of puck support. The Oilers were aggressive and relentless at getting the puck back.

And sorry fire King right now. A 6 on 4 pp and they are all still standing around.

Goddamn right. We need a coaching staff that actually knows how to run a bench. That can recognize a players strengths and weaknesses and play them to their strengths. A coach that can implement a proper system that the players he has at his disposal can actually carry out. A coach that will hold his players, his staff and himself accountable.

You know, an actual NHL coach. Not a useless twat that has been gift-wrapped stud rookie prospects year after year and has failed to help them improve and failed to utilize them to improve the team.

Yes sir.

Easiest terms.

WE NEED A COACH WHO CAN GET THE BEST OUT OF HIS PLAYERS.

The talent on our top end and every player up front is playing BELOW their potential....except Garland...who gets benched...  Its sickening.

This coaching staff is incompetent.

If the OEL shot goes post & in, or Yamamoto doesn't pop his head back, were looking at a different game here.

Frustration rightfully mounting, it's just crazy how little breaks can swing a game.

Oilers generated a lot more better scoring chances though and McDavid could have easily scored 2-3 goals alone.

This could have been a lot worse if not for Demko who had to be great in order to keep up in it.
