Yeah, the Flames are a more recent example, of a team that hired a coach with an actual track record and the players bought in. The Canucks, could had done the same thing last year; but it seems, JB felt responsible for Greens atrocious record due to his mismanagements. The deeper roster and extension to Green, seems to JBs' way of admitting to his mistakes and givimg himself a better chance to re evaluate Green with a deeper roster.
