Three in a row where we got badly outplayed between the pipes. Do you even watch the games or you do you base your entire assessment of games by save %? Do you take into consideration shot quality or the fact that our top players offer little to no run support in the last three games? If your entire analysis of the game is that the goalie needs to steal us games, doesn't that say something about the 18 guys in front of him too? Your schtick is so tiresome. Try watching some hockey. 5 2 2
Wayne Jetski
We’re not out of a playoff hunt by any means. Oilers and Flames are struggling just as much if not worse than us. Couple games in hand to make up ground on SJ and ANA. Maybe these games are fodder for a change or two that can right the ship or get us some momentum again. Rutherford has some guts and will not be afraid to make a big move if it seems like it can make us better.
Popular Post J.I.A.H.N
I don't think there should be any disapointment We played against a top 2 team,.........big, fast, skilled, in their building, and early game time for us Not excuses, just reality Like I said earlier, these games are all against top 10 NHL opposition It is a measuring stick for JR and BB And a little reality check for CDC Nice snipe by Bo! 1 2
Petey40
Didn’t BB say after the Florida loss that good teams don’t lose 2 in a row? The effort has been there this road trip we’re just not a good team. Lots of holes to be filled. Outside of Hughes the D doesn’t help at all offensively so it may as well be 3v5 in the offensive zone if he’s not on the ice. No game breakers at forward. JR has his work cut out for him but I’m excited to see what he can do!

Popular Post thrago
The thing that frustrates me is why have BB and EP never been able to be as good as their rookie years? They should both be better but they are both worse and it's killed this team. 2 1
NHTyrany
That was barfffff. Can't remember when the Nucks plays a decent early start. Perhaps 2010. I hate losing this way. The earlier two losses I can handle, but this was a slow and lazy effort. It's like they decided they need to play PK style all game instead of pressuring. And the D were about half as nasty as Carolina. Carolina deserved this win and it appears their crowd had a great game and time all-round as we lick our wounds. Time to give Hunt some work in the minors. Time to trade for some physicality. Bo was a beauty, Myers decent, and ... Bo was a beauty. 1

Bure_of_94
I think JR will start shopping Brock here and probably address our D (which is the 4th highest paid defence in the entire league) Edited January 15, 2022 by Bure_of_94

I say JR trades in a few of our slow stay at home D's for a brand new 2022 model of............... More dependable passing than most our D and great trade in value. And clearly that “success” fizzled out hence the coaching change. From the sounds of it Green was just a miserable person yelling at everyone in the end. Not a great environment for young guys to thrive in. 2

Considering he absolutely destroyed their confidence with his gross incompetence and lack of professionalism, it's largely his fault. A bad coach can cause permanent damage when kept around as long as Green was. Edited January 15, 2022 by King Heffy

Popular Post DownUndaCanuck
8-0-1 and then 0-3-0 still equates to 8-3-1, if we play at even 7-3-0 for the rest of the season then we make the playoffs. Just have to make sure this blep is because of the long layoff/rough schedule and not the status quo, it's too early to tell which is which. I think the upcoming home trip will really shed light onto how good we really are because we play some quality opponents at home. 3 steps forward, only 2 steps back this time as opposed to with Green where it was 1 step forward 3 steps back. 4 1

The Canucks weren’t ready from the get go again. We are a team that can't keep up with speed, that's a big problem, and so is our PP. We have lots of work to do. Makes you wonder what JR thinks of our top 6. 1
