What do you think it would take to pry Chris Kreider from the NYR?

Heard an expert on the radio, forgot the guy's name, saying Kreider is one of those players valued a lot more by fans outside of the city he plays in than at home. He's overrated. I like the Baer + a second offer proposed by @Odd. Any more is an overpayment for an overrated player.

People call the Bo-Schnieder trade a wash thus far. I disagree. Since the trade, Bo has played in more playoff games than Cory. When it is all said and done, I think we will have won that trade by a wide margin.

@-AJ- But #1's play every playoff game

@ReggieBush Ah yes, my mistake there, I misread. Still, that's more of a measure of team success than individual player success I suppose. There were a couple of years when I'd argue Schneider was a top 5 goaltender in the league.

I have made it a priority the last year to make sure I let a lot of my good friends (both guys and girls) know that I love them. I am a straight male and a large demographic of my friends come from a group that aren't typically receptive to that sort of affection from a male friend.
At first, many thought it was strange, but the more I said it, the more they became receptive too it. The more they became open with their feelings with me. Today, my a good friend of mine couldn't make a phone call for a minor reason. Not a big deal, its life. But he ended up saying how much he appreciates me as a friend and that he loved me.
Honestly idk why I made this post, but him saying that made my night. I recommend trying it out. It could change relationships.

Good on you, for taking the lead with something so basic but often not done until it's too late. It's a wonderful thing you've started.
It really shows how, on a larger scale, that stuff spreads. That, by being kind and sharing love that others are inclined to follow. Rather than all the negative stuff we tend to absorb on a daily basis.I love this post. I have learned to do the same with family ... having both parents with cancer at the same time taught me not to take anything for granted.
Haha, along those lines my ex is very "straight"...uncomfortably so. So the first time our daughter's b/f reached in to give him a hug it was sort of a "what are you doing, man??!" moment. Now they hug every time we're all leaving an event.
Reading this is a great way to start the day, thank you.

i have love ones that i wish now that i had said i love you more often when they were alive. it can be tough. telling my son and grandson i love them, when they got older felt awkward and they seemed a little uncomfortable with it. i never say that to friends but if you and them feel comfortable, great.

Classless from Rapinoe today. Act like you have been there before. TSN panel response felt a little salty, but I agree with the sentiment.

Sean Avery is actually a psychopath.

@King HeffyAvery even kind of pokes fun with himself as a movie actor where the Rocket beats the crap out of him

If this is CDC when the Canucks lose a bottom pairing Dman that we still have control under of the next 5 years, I cannot wait to see what this board will look like when we end up picking 5th in the Draft.

Just how bad is the air quality in Vancouver right now? I have been walking home from work the past few days (4km walk), should I be worried about my health?

Its snowing for the first time this year and I have 2 exams today. Can't tell if its a good or bad omen.

Poor Dwight. I had to get through 30 tweets before I found this one detailing what happened, he is an even bigger meme now.

So my old HS is playing in the Provincials for basketball. I have friends on the the team, so I was excited to find out that they were streaming the games online. The only thing is that you have to pay $8 PER DAY to watch High School kids in 480p. Are you kidding me? How ridiculous is that?

@Tre Mac draw facing Kits in the first round. Apparently that game was closer than the score indicated

Safe to say that we are in the hunt?

Who do you want to coach the Canucks next year?

Prof gave us the option to not write our rescheduled exam, due to it taking place after the scheduled exam period. It is worth 40 percent. I am taking my 87% and running with it!
How has your Monday started?

Canucks forward lines next season (forgive me, I am bored)
Baer- Bo- Boes
Dahlen (Goldy) - Elias- Loui
Granlund - Sutter- Gagner
Leipsic - Gaudette - Virtanen
Motte, Goldy or Gaunce also make the team

Anyone else struggle taking pills? I have to take them everyday for a month and I am dreading it.

I guess we aren't the only team that riots after we lose

I have had an absolutely abysmal sports weekend. I don't want to see a ball of any sorts for at least 5 days.

Same man... Rough couple of weeks with Michigan football and my Bears.
Sometimes I feel the urge to completely throw sports out of my life because I get so emotionally and even physically hurt and disgusted when something doesn't go my team's way like last night vs the Packers. Like I feel like the big wins don't at all make up for the bad losses that hurt TBH, or maybe it's just cuz none of my teams have ever gone all the way and so I don't really know the feeling.

The Canucks have come the closest to winning the stanley cup without winning it.

Looking ahead to this road trip, if the boys are serious about making a run at this thing (meaning the playoffs), they need at least 8 of 12 points. This roadie is not as tough as the last one imo, and I think with the way the team is playing right now, it is definitely possible.

Get my travel story today trying to get back to Vancouver
Left Pullman, WA by bus to go to Spokane Airport at 4pm
Got to Spokane Airport at 6
Got through security and to my gate at 630 (Flight at 845 to Seattle, Connecting Flight 1115 to Vancouver)
Flight delayed a half hour
Flight delayed another half hour
Get on plane, mechanical failure another 45 min delay
Get into Seattle at 12 AM, I am on the tarmac as my plane leaves while I am waiting for my bag, which I didn't want to check in and was forced too.
Its ok because there is a flight to Bellingham which fits my schedule. They had space and didn't let me on, made me go to customer service where there was 70 people in front of me.
Waited in that line for and hour and a half
Got a flight to bellingham for 9am tomorrow and a free night at the red lion.
Waited a half hour for a shuttle to the hotel.
I just got into my room now, 11 hours since my departure.
Did I mention, I have a wedding that starts tomorrow at 11 (at UBC)?

My favorites were when they didn't know were my 10 year old niece was after her flight landed after 30 mins when they were supposed to be accompling her. Another time was we we less than 5 mins to take off, and had to de board after they made their annoncement. One of the brakes were worn down. Another time we were missing a First Commander. Another time, mechanical failure. Another time, the crew was on another flight waiting to land. But when I flew up to Alaska and back, they were a delight and took off on time to and from. And I told everyone to give them a second chance. Then I flew with them again, and we were back to square one. I get so pissed off at them, then a few months later, I fly with them again because they are cheap and have more flights, then I remember why I was not going to fly with them. It's a cycle.

This is absolutely insane. F*** UCLA and the bRuins now and for ever, but Katelyn Ohashi is cool. She honestly looks like she is having fun.

There are tons of media that are clamouring for us to be bad (**cough** Botch **cough**) and that the worst case scenario is a 9th place finish in the conference. I look at some of the players that were taken in the 12-18 range (where I think we will pick) and I see a lot of really good talent. Macavoy, Fabbro, Brannstrom, Vakkahainen, Denisenko, Ty Smith. We are going to get a really good player.

I would tend to agree with botch for other teams. But when it’s your players in the early 20’s winning you meaningful games it can only be good for them.
When the Sedins and Vrbata along with Ryan Miller got the team to the playoffs, I didn’t really see the benefit in that going forward. We got lucky Boeser fell that next draft but he easily couldn’t have

I don't think you are picking up what I am putting down. There is really good value in the teens is what I am saying @LordCanuck

Going on my first proper date in almost three years on Sunday. When you get cheated off once, you tend to have trust/commitment issues. I really like her guys.
