Jack Hughes has the build of a 12 year old boy and sounds about as intelligent as one. I couldn't care less what that little fleabag thinks. Worst 1st overall pick in many years imo.

52 points in 117 games, while Pettersson has 153 in 165 games played. One is a first overall player and the other is a 5th overall.

Jack Hughes looks like a little girl and it is very apparent he is very immature. I doubt any Canuck fan cares what they think lol.

Ya, this is pretty bizarre. Sounds very entitled.

All along I have been concerned about Quinn's defensive game.  If Quinn doesn't get stronger and more effective defensively, I am thinking trading him could be a good idea. It is so easy to get excited about his incredible offensive skills and skating but if he doesn't get better defensively it will limit how much he will sign for in the long run.  Pete seems to be a little better rounded than Quinn and could be signed to a longer deal. Just some thoughts I have had as I have been in and out of the hospital this summer. B)

I'm not going to lie - I knew Tanev was a decent passer, but I would have never guessed he was elite at it.

I mean making a lot of passes doesn’t mean you’re elite at it necessarily.

Like every time he passes off to a puck carrier who carries it up the ice that’s considered a successful pass. If he’s doing that a lot during a game because we’re constantly going back into our zone it would inflate those stats.

Where Tanev was elite was puck recovery and making a first pass. While that’s important it hardly makes a defender an elite passer. We do miss that prt of his game though.

I want him back.

F*ck Schmidt. Why did we get him?

I mean it was a good gamble for the cost at the time.

Unfortunately for Jimbo he’s going to be judged for the result. And that’s just a horrible look to let Tanev walk only to lose Schmidt a year after acquiring him and having no one to play with Hughes again.

Petey sticking to his guns. Well, the good news is that this keeps management accountable. They need to win consistently moving forward. Next key signings for Benning will be Miller and Horvat.

At least Petey will still be RFA by the time his deal ends.

Hughes on the other hand, man, I can't seem to shake the sense that once this deal expires, he's bolting to NJ to be with Jack and Luke. &^@#.
