He had every opportunity to be successful in Edmonton, playing along side McDavid, Draisaitl, and RNH. Yet he still couldn’t put up any decent numbers for an offensive guy. I think his value is lower than Virtanen and I just don't want to give up on Juolevi . Provost Posted August 2, 2019 Share Posted August 2, 2019 The money doesn't work out, but Baertschi for him would be a reasonable deal. Baertschi is what he is at this point and is a 3rd liner who can play on the 2nd line in a pinch. He is a bit of a tweener who has some injury worries, but on a decent contract for his production. Puljujarvi hasn't even slightly put it together but has some upside by virtue of Edmonton having a long history of mismanaging players who are really pretty good. Edmonton gets a more productive winger, which they need badly and who likely puts up 40-50 points if put beside either of their elite centres. But please someone get him a properly fitted helmet One good thing about Edmonton is that their young castoffs tend out to have decent careers on other teams. We don't have room for him and he will likely get claimed on waivers (someone will surely try him out for free).
