Popular Post HerrDrFunk
His play this season has certainly reminded me of another Russian goalie whose name started with B as well. Hint: It's Bryzgalov; and that ain't good. 1 5
Guest
Maybe it has something to do with team he's playing on. We'll see. Edited October 25, 2019 by Guest
RRypien37
High priced UFA signings almost never pan out. A long illustrious history of this to prove that. 1
Ghostsof1915
Goaltending is one of the positions that signing long term deals don't usually pan out. Because so much of workload, and working with your defence matters. Rarely do you see guys like Brodeur that stay on top year after year. Even guys like Price, and Fleury, have good and mediocre seasons. You can struggle for 2 years, then bam, you get a Vezina Trophy year.
Popular Post -DLC-
Goaltending's one of those things that runs hot and cold. Huge mental aspect to the position and when things unravel it can happen fast and be tough to regroup. Which is why I don't take Marky for granted and am unwilling to throw him under the bus if he has a bad game or two. It's a tough gig and can really be the difference maker for a team in overall success. People talk about unloading Marky or Demko but I think it's important to have a good tandem in the event one does start to struggle. Nice to have options. I don't envy goaltenders. 2

Popular Post khay
Curse of Luongo. Luongo wanted to do Canucks a favor and go on LTIR. Panthers didn't give a $hit since they don't get much cap saving from it anyways. Karma coming back to bite them in the a$$. 2
Elias Pettersson
The last time he had a GAA over 3.00 was 8 years ago. That contract is going to be an albatross for him. He will never live up to it.

Drakrami
Never worth 10 million to begin with, Florida was just desperate. In a rational market, he is worth more like 7.5million.
Tre Mac
I hope that franchise folds, maybe Bobby Lu can be his goalie coach before he gets canned. I am sure this is a huge disappointment for the 2,347 fans that franchise has. 1
peaches5
He started off terribly last year as well and then had an insane finish to the year. I wouldn't read too much into it unless his whole year is terrible. 1
JM_
I'd be more concerned with his playoff performance history, assuming they get there. 10 mil is too much usually for 2 goalies let alone 1. I wonder if Florida will be the new team tank darlings?
theo5789
Luongo was notorious for having slow starts and would turn it on from November on when he was here. I'd wait for the season to play out. Florida still has a decent record despite his numbers so far so if he picks it up, they will be that much better.
