Flamers got lucky with the injuries.  Dallas has much more size and snarl and will absolutely bully Calgary and expose them as the gutless cowards they are.  Hard to win in the playoffs with AHL goaltending and a forward group that plays scared; these clowns will be lucky to win a single game.

 

As for our series, we've done pretty well against the Blues in the regular season but all our guys will have to turn it up another notch.  Think we can prevail in 7.

Tort's CBJ's of 2019 beg to differ. St.Louis was picked by many analysts at the start of the season to repeat. They are deep at every position. I wouldn't be shocked if they swept us but at the same time, I wouldn't be shocked if we take them to game 7.

They way they fought for each other and refused to roll over when Marky was having an off game... that team heart tells me everything.

The Canucks have finally grown a set of balls, learned to stand up for each other, refuse to back down and put everything they had into winning. No quit, no sorry's,  good old balls to the wall hockey.

Too much defeatist attitude here about facing St Louis instead of Dallas. Win or lose, we will have accomplished our goal for the year, which is to gain playoff experience. St Louis is the reigning champ, so there's not much better competition to have for this experience gained even if we lose. If we win, that's a huge momentum swing for us. Not having this pressure of expectations should bode well for us.

If I was a betting man I’d say the Canucks players were hoping to face the Blues. They’re hungry. Love it. Voted Nucks in 7. Expecting a big series from Horvat
