QH went too deep left Stech all alone, and Schen came on due to late change. everyone can play 10% better Nux matched up well. played a good game but they can be even better
Trebreh
I really like Motte and his hard work but he has no finish. MacEwen aside from the error on the 2nd goal was having a good game, we could've used him in OT. I want to see Gaudette in for Eriksson next game
DonaldBrashear
This was a character loss. If that makes sense. We needed to lose, and losing game 3 made the most sense. Going up 3-0 in the series and losing game 4 would be worse IMO. Then you start to get nervous like Blackhawks in 2011. Also, if you are going to lose a game, it is best to lose this one because we play them again in 20 hours. We don't have to sit and dwell for 2 days. Go sleep, wake up and play again. Quick revenge. I say the Canucks go up 3-1 and then finish them off 4-1 series on Friday night!
canuck2288
Hughes played amazing but the timing of that move was not good. Puck was not open

Popular Post HKSR
Defending Stanley Cup champions in a do or die game against a team with a young core getting playoff action for the first time... Yet still took OT to decide it. I'm not even mad. The boys are doing great and this experience will help them immensely in future playoff runs. 7 2
MikeyD
Next game is where we are going to see if Green can adapt to playoff hockey.

Dunno if it was a bad line change, but more likely the forward bolted too soon and he had no one to five it to. Tough break/game for him. Too bad they didnt catch the elbow he took, but that's life. Far better reffing than the last two games, but the boys weren't getting it done today. Just how they aren't too tired, since we've had the better speed for the most part. At least in the two previous games. Better luck tomorrow! The elbow was a direct result of a cross check to the back by edler. Drove the player right into stetcher
kloubek
Good game. By the 3rd we just looked tired and continued dominating us in OT. That's ok. If we win tomorrow, we're golden. If we don't, well, I'm not super stoked about our chances of making it past the first round.

Trebreh
I call a blow out next game. The Canucks will come out pissed and light up Allen.
knucklehead91
The reffs have a hard time FINDING a penalty to call against the Canucks, then call a bit of a weak one on Virtanen, however it was a bit of a slew foot.. Canucks score on their only PP of the game and the Reffs mail it in. NOPE CANT CALL ANYTHING AT ALL EVER AGAIN GOTTA NOT GIVE THE BLUES ANY PENALTIES FOR ANY DIRTY PLAYS. J-23
Big question is which goalies are going to start tomorrow?
Smashian Kassian
Refs called that right into the Blues hand. You knew with the Blues on the ropes that $&!# wasn't going to be called. But that was just absurd. Double standard call in OT hands STL the momentum & the Blues are back. League is smiling. Expecting game 4 to be called in our hand. DarthMelvin
I'll say this... Motte was good for sure. But in OT he looked so gassed.
hockeyville88
- We need to erase this one quickly - Stetcher had a rough one - Virtanen is a waste of a talented player - I'm impressed by Fantenberg - Boeser can't seem to even make a clean pass - Big game tomorrow. Let's get back at it - Goodnight 2

When he was checking the Blues' players he would just do a skate-by. He had tons of giveaways and wasn't skating hard... not sure what the deal is, but we have Gaudette waiting in the wings. WHL rocks
Horvat was quiet. He'll be better next game. He'll need to be better. Boeser gone cold this series. He's going to have to turn it around for us to have chance to win the series..
