Expecting a huge game from the Canucks! Winning game 5 probably gave the boys more confidence, and an actual belief that this series is still winnable. A win tonight and we're off to a game 7. So proud of the boys. No matter who's in net, they will give us a good chance of winning.

How you you best describe Pettersson to someone who’s been a long time Canucks fan but has never seen Elias Pettersson?  I would describe him as a hybrid of the Sedin Twins and Pavel Bure in their prime.  The vision and creativity of the Twins combined with Pavel’s shot selection and his dynamic and electrifying speed and athleticism.  It’s weird, but it’s like a perfect match.

He has better stick checking and defensive awareness than them but yeah.

Great player from the neck down.  Still think he could succeed if he gets moved somewhere away from his crew that isn't a major nightlife hub.

I'm assuming they've watched Datsyuk in his prime.  Petey is a very similar type of player with a better shot.

Umm love EP but he’s no Bure.   Bure scored back to back 60 goal seasons his second and third season.   And more then anyone during the dead puck era until the point he retired.    Don’t see much Pavel in him other then ability to deke, and maybe his slapper, but not the same level (yet).   30 goals for Bure was a breeze.  The only thing I’d say is EP has potential for greatness the same way all three of these player have - and has some of it shining through already.   Once he gets stronger on the puck and is also feasting 5 x 5 he will have arrived in full.  Datsyuk is the best comparable so far.  Will add that like Bure he’s been good/great right from the outset.   Already would put him behind Bure and ahead of the Sedins as far as overall talent goes.   Bure would have scored 600 goals in as many career games without the redline and obstruction to play through in today’s game  - goalies weren’t that much different in the 90’s and obstruction would have killed EPs hopes of playing his game right away.    EPs a superstar in today’s game waiting for his turn at this point - and do believe he will get there (best 1-3 by position is by definition a super-star).    Like the Sedins and Bure will say he’s unique and one of a kind.
