We had a hell of a run and gained a lot of respect from around the league with that gutsy effort. The kids will learn from this and we now have seen what demko can do at his peak. A really fun series. Felt we hanged back a bit to much but we will learn from this. Only getting 1 shot on that 5 minute PP totally killed us. There is no excuse for that despite the amount of games played. I hope we switch up the coach for that (Newell) It is a bit disappointing that It ended on a sour note like that. But we have a lot to be proud of. It’s been fun y’all. Depth scoring was awful and the power play was stagnant. Get rid of some of these slower, older guys. I hope we see more urgency on it. A coach that teaches that it can change a game. It just seemed sometimes they would meander down into the zone. Need a change there. I do believe Edler should not be in the top four anymore. Tired and slow. You're never going to win a game 7 if you generate less than 15 shots with 4 power play chances. I am very proud of that team and very proud of how far they came certainly not a season to be unhappy about especially under these conditions. Beat the defending cup champs and took the favourites to win the stanley cup to seven games and tied with less than 6 minutes to play. If Vegas wins the cup, then we would have lost to the Stanley cup champs in seven games....not bad....Go vegas go! See ya next season, over.
