Excited.  Is Juolevi ready to become a full time NHLr?  Will Baertschi win a spot in the line up?  Can the new young players be impactful?  Will Eriksson score 30 goals again?

Either way it will be good to see Canucks hockey again

Yes, NO, I hope so and maybe in Utica....I agree

Baer could be decent in regular season play ,hes just not a playoff banger that we need for a playoff run.

Baer could make the team be good enough too get traded at TDL then have Pod take the roster spot.

its a far fetched i know...but its not impossible.

he helps add depth to the 4/5 spot on D at around 1-1.5m is good value

canucks will look for a top 6 winger next in probably a “hockey deal” of some kind

No worries Jake will step up to the top six.

So with such as short camp, I'd imagine the AHL decisions will be coming soon. @mll do you know when those AHL waiver moves can begin, or has that begun already?

Looks to have already begun.  Waivers are open.

As there is an NHL season every player under contract is back on the NHL roster and needs to be assigned to the different leagues.  Players staying abroad like McKeown , Allard, Thurkauf have gone through waivers to be officially assigned there.

Teams don’t have to bring players to camp and can leave them waiting too.

I’m still thinking he signed his contract when he wasn’t 100% and had hoped the symptoms would disappear by camp time. They didn’t, and he has probably felt a bit guilty, on top of feeling symptoms from his multiple concussions.
I do hope he recovers and can enjoy a healthy life.
