The bipolar cult of jake is ridiculous, it's like american politics. "He's terrible and nothing he does is any good" and "He's  gonna get it together"

Overall, I think they're a little bit flat.  Hughes is working hard but I give the Flames credit for playing well in front of Marky.  Also, Marky is clearly up for the game.

 

As for Jake, we all want him to do well and he shows us flashes from time to time but mostly he just doesn't have the jam and competitiveness that it takes.  I've said this in other posts but I think that he was re-signed only because Benning was unable to keep Toffoli and otherwise, he would have lost too much on the right side.  Jake has been given every opportunity in this short season to play in the top 6 and hasn't cut it.  We need Miller back badly.
