The first goal scored by Toronto was on Edler not Schmidt.    Schmidt hasn’t been his usual great self while here, but he hasn’t been terrible either.   He’s been “good.”

I can't believe that Green is still coaching this team.  He is taking this team into unchartered waters for new ways to lose.  Get blown out by shots and lose, massively outshoot the other team but still lose, give up many breakaways and lose, don't score on the pp and lose, score on the pp but quit in the third and lose, play a hard third but get blown out in the second and lose, get good goaltending and lose. get lousy goaltending and lose. 

 

The only thing that happens consistently is we get outcoached, and lose.

 

Ok enough.  Stop this,

Other than Torterella what do you expect. Canadian fans and media are so toxic and lazy you just give out stock answers. The endless whining about it on here is sad tbh

Honestly playoffs are likely out of reach but I'm not giving up hope on this team. We have good pieces along with some good pcs to come from the farm still. 

 

We're in better shape than we were 2 years ago. Dont forget that.

As well, as the schedule tilts teams will have to start enduring the brutal stuff that we've had early on as they get caught up to us.  It'll even out a bit and we'll get more rest as they're burning out.
