If so probably explains this and a lot of other steals to come. Honestly can't believe that both us and EDM wouldn't have gone upto 4.5 for this guy. So possibly the tax break and the lack of absolutely terrible local media must be a thing. Either that or both teams are looking elsewhere... Don't you think the fans of like every other middling team is telling themselves that they'd be good if they just added 1 or 2 more top-4 D-men or top-6 forwards? It means nothing. Lack of depth = bad. If we were good (aka had depth) we'd be losing a top-6 forward like Tampa. Look at the standings, look at the stats, look at the facts.
