[Rumor] Nate Schmidt being dealt very soon any minute now

Miller Petey Boeser were beyond brutal 5 on 5.  If we are going into next year with the same top line it will be another disaster year.  The top line needs a shakeup.

That is just Miller trying to do way too much and became a turn over machine. Petey barely played this season and Brock was world beater.

They were fine the season before and no reason they will to go back to form in a normal season.

Well, it's not like we don't have options. That's just how most people have it written up.

Miller - Petey - Garland

Hoglander - Horvat- Boeser

Hoglander- Miller- Boeser

Petersson- Horvat- Garland

Hoglander- Petersson- Boeser

Miller- Horvat- Garland

Etc etc etc.....

Point is we have a lot of option for the top 6, all of which look pretty good. The D is what needs to be addressed. And getting a good, cheap 4C.

Probably not.

Sign petey and Hughes first before rsn out of time Benning starts to cry or someone else offer sheets him and we have to match anywayz.  Kinda of a stupid formula for success. If Benning match any offer then why not just sign him to a long term contract and bridge Hughes

Bonino wanted out. Didnt want to play in Canada. Hes not coming back and dont want someone with that $&!# attitude on the team.

Well I guess Bonino won't sign with the Canucks, so no issue there!

Might be worth trading Schmidt for Gudas, Holtby (30% retained) for M Subban, which will afford us the space to sign a decent young 3C such as Wennberg for $3.5m.

Roster:

Miller Pettersson (7) Boeser

Hoglander Horvat Garland (4.75)

Pearson Wennberg (3.5) Podkolzin

Highmore Dickinson (2.5) Motte

(Graovac, 750k)

OEL Hamonic (2.5)

Hughes (6) Gudas (2.5)

Juolevi (1) Myers

(Rathbone Bowey)

Demko (Subban, 850k)

He wasn't looking to be traded - the team had just finished 2nd in the Pacific and went to the playoffs and sounded genuinely shocked in his trade interview.  Seem to remember him saying he was building a house but NHL.com has him buying the house - either way he was settling himself in Vancouver:  "It wasn't much more than a year ago that Bonino had been traded to the Penguins, a disappointing moment after he had established himself in Vancouver, bought a house, and settled in."

Schmidt seems like one of those “bro-guy jocks” in high school that ran in packs of five, wore the same clothes, went out with the same girls but.....

Could barely spell their own name, never had a coherent thought other than “must bully smaller person”, and were just donkeys in a pack full of donkeys braying at whatever the group brayed at.

Just seems to me anyway. I could be wrong.
