i think we’ll be lucky to win 2 of the next 7 games. this is going to be a tough stretch of games. i wish the team well. i hope we can get some injured bodies back. just being realistic here. 

I don't know guys, this team did a great job last year getting up to play against a the healthy avs team and we have improved since then, and they are short a few bodies.  Have some faith

@Nuxfanabroad Taylor Hall is going to be a free agent and will probably cost around 10M, the price we are paying for Loui Eriksson, Ryan Spooner's buyout, and the Luongo recapture haha.

You won't get Hall now unless you gut the team of it's young talent. 

You won't get Hall in the offseason unless you unload Sutter, walk away from Tanev  and trade Stetcher.

That leaves a very big gap on the right side. 

Do you trust Rafferty, Woo, Juolevi to fill that gap? 

So you lose defensive depth and experience, for a top six winger.

Agreed. But I think last night might have been a spark for him... when things get a little emotional that is when he seems to be at his best.

it was already reported on  tsn that vanek was actually better than nash in the playoffs.  i like benning but he just embarrassed the organization.  i checked all the stats on both and the only thing nash is better on is speed. we give away a guy who has 41 points and pick up a guy with 5 points.

Pretty nice to have even one guy make it.  I'm struggling to remember the last time a Canuck prospect who wasn't a first rounder made Team Canada.  Future looks bright and  getting cut looks like it will light a fire under Lind for sure.  Guy looked really, really choked to be cut.

I think if Mittelstadt is available at 5 sure, but that's too high to pick Pettersson. If Mittelstadt is gone at 5, trade down to gain additional assets (an extra 2nd and 3rd) to drop down for Pettersson.

I'm fine with Mittelstadt, Vilardi, or Glass. That said, the #5 position isn't one where there's an obvious pick, so trading down to #7 or #8 and grabbing an extra pick would be fine too.
