He needs to be challenged. I think he would benefit more from a year in the SHL next year - he turns 19 in July. Year after that some time in the AHL and who knows maybe some time on the big club. The timing would be good for the Canucks as well he may just be the reason Madden was deemed expendable. RH center plays all situations and at 18 already outweighs Madden by 25+ pounds.
