This chart tries to demonstrate the bs way Florida is reporting their deaths.

Let's say that there were 300 deaths two weeks ago, but only 50 were confirmed at the time.  They are only reporting 50 deaths.   Today, there were 350 deaths but only 40 were confirmed and those 250 deaths from 2 weeks ago were finally confirmed.   Well, the two week old deaths gets adjusted from 50 to 300, but today's total is only 40.  It gives the impression that today's data is much much better than 2 weeks ago, but in reality it isn't.

Krazy Killer Kenney strikes again.  Put this piece of garbage in prison for mass murder.  He needs to be forcibly removed from government immediately, by force if necessary.

What's the best way for an old person to get their passport?  They can hardly make a phone call on their cell phone, let alone pull up pictures.

If you print it off, then they can just show it and show their ID right?

The lineups are apparently pretty long, but you can get them printed out at Service BC. Then you can get them laminated at a printer, or maybe even a library, depending on where you live.

I’m curious to know if anyone is planning to travel outside of Canada in the coming months (for non-essential travel).

I notice that you have to take a Covid test within 72 hours of returning to Canada when you go somewhere. For places like Mexico, resorts charge upwards of $200-$300 US per test, so a family of four would need to spend about $1,000 US on Covid testing to fly back into Canada. That’s a pretty big extra expense.

what do folks think? Is it worth splurging to get a much-needed getaway in over Christmas holidays or spring break. Or continue to wait this out until we’re all senior citizens?
