Coaching "experience" can come in different forms...doesn't have to be a Resume of direct experience....he knows the game.  He's been a great study of it.

 

When he  used to get caught pinching all the time he spent an off season learning "timing" and when to jump into the play/not based on positioning - his, where the puck was, where his back up was, etc.  To make it a decision not a reaction.  It really helped him.  He didn't just play the game, he absorbed a lot over the years.

 

He knows a whole lot about this game...I wouldn't pass him over based on being "green" (wow, that pun wasn't even intentional).  He'd make a great defensive coach.

I believe he coached his sons team does that count ? ::D

don’t care about the experience coaching , I still think he’d be great

Maybe the players are putting the blame on Green's systems and strategies then? Not saying it's justified blame, but the players have been claiming that the effort hasn't been lacking during this slump, so it makes you wonder what they think the problem is.

Even Patrick roy in his prime can't help this team, let alone markstrom.  Goalie is the least of there troubles.  It's the system that is a concern.  Juice should be good to replace bummer,  did u notice his tips and tricks on the face off circle?

Glad it looks like this team cares. 
 

 

Just gross lack of effort and give a $&!#. Each and every game is just a laugh for opposing teams. Takes no effort defensively, they don’t have to battle. Each and every player whether it’s a first line star or 4th line depth role player knows every time they’re on the ice it’s an opportunity to score on us. They’re all smiling and having a great time.
