We can’t keep saying if we don’t turn it around. If we were going to turn it around it would have been five games ago. We have said the exact same thing after every loss since then. Reality has to set in at some point and people have to realize this year ain’t happening the way the team is constructed.

Green is doing such a fantastic job developing these young players. He's teaching them how to deal with adversity. I hope Aquilini signs him to a 10 year deal when his current contract expires. He's exactly the kind of coach we need to bring the Cup to Vancouver.

How many games does it take for Green to get canned?

 

We’re at 6 now, so 7? 8? 9?

 

At some point the season is a write off and if you don’t plan on re-signing Green time to get a head start on next season.

Markstrom is 3-0 against us. He's saved 90 of 93 shots in 3 games, an average of 1 goal per game.

We outplayed the Flames tonight. Markstrom was the difference. I'm really starting to hate him.

Could go another 3 to extend the losing streak at this rate.   Just not enough effort and clean hockey. Sloppy mess of breakaways, giveaways, and turnovers.

Hogz had a great game, no puck luck. 

Bailey played really well, now he's injured. 

Great Petey & Boes goal.  Need so much more of that.

Bo and Miller are nowhere to be seen.

Refs have no problem with the Lames running our goaltender. 

Lucic should not be standing after that game. 

And I need to be stinking drunk to survive Saturday's game.

60 minutes in a game X 2 D = 120 D minutes

maybe 10 of those we play on the PP with 4F-1D

 

net 110 D minutes per game

 

On a good/very good D team, how many minutes would you want each D man to play

 

Hughes 24?

Edler 20?

Schmidt 14?

Benn 12

Myers 12

OJ 12

 

I am not even sure I would want them playing that much, and that only equals 94

Yeah, would rather see the rookies play if the same gaffes are to be expected atleast, they are still capable of learning (?).

Mental mistakes costing this team badly. We were in it... bam bad line change and johnny's off on a breakaway.

I think the players were happy to be home and felt better. They came up a bit short but were definitely happy to be back home and on the ice.

I don't know why this coaching staff wont give Juolevi some offensive zone starts! Myers handles the puck like a damn grenade and cant make a pass. So many plays died on his stick tonight.
