Gaudette has improved in the faceoff circle - but not quite as much in the rest of the defensive center aspects of the game imo. Boyd is 38.5% career = not good either....but close to Gaudette's career mark. Boyd is also 3 years older than Gaudette - perhaps that experience will come in handy.
